Ben discovered his passion for wildlife photography while on safari in the Serengeti in 1998.  He combines environmental portrait and wildlife photography capturing  the emotions, personalities, and vitality of wild animals  in their natural settings.  

Ben finds his best subjects in Africa and South America.  His images bring the animals to life, and strives for clarity, simplicity, and sharp details. He has also photographed wildlife in the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, and Belize.

Ben has exhibited his photos at Modern Exposures Exhibition at the Krause Center for Innovation and at Open Studios Silicon Valley at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, CA;  and at 21 Perspectives Exhibition at PhotoCentral Gallery, Hayward, CA.
